Invitation to a Book Night : Saturday, 3 Feb 07

Dr Cliff Powell, a Christian Psychologist will speak on Stress Management for Christians. After graduating university in Australia and the USA he completed his doctoral internship with the University of Tenessee’s Dept of Psychiatry in Memphis in 1983. He was the founding chairperson of the Christianity and Psychology Interest Group of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) , a position he held for 6 years. He is also a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists of the APS. Cliff has had wide experience in psychology in Australia and overseas.

Recent books co –authored by Cliff include ‘Marriage that Works’ and ‘Unloading the Overload’ . He will be bringing along his book ‘Unloading the Overload’ to the booknight which you can buy, and will speak about dealing with stress in your Christian life.

* At the end of the night you take home your choice of a book that everyone has brought along!

Bring: A second hand book that you think’s great and don’t mind parting with plus $12 for the evening.
