Inconvenient Truth : Highly Recommended Viewing

A Synopsis

A passionate look at former USA Vice President Al Gore's fervent crusade to halt global warming's deadly progress in its tracks by exposing the myths and misconceptions that surround it. In the wake of defeat in the 2000 election, Gore re-set the course of his life to focus on a last-ditch, all-out effort to help save the planet from irrevocable change. In this portrait of Gore and his 'traveling global warming show,' Gore also proves himself to be one of the most misunderstood characters in modern American public life. Here he is seen as never before in the media -- funny, engaging, open and downright on fire about getting the surprisingly stirring truth about what he calls our 'planetary emergency' out to ordinary citizens before it's too late.

It is coming to Manly Twin Cinemas on 19th October for 7 days only (session times at www.manlycinemas.com.au/sessions.asp).

Jim Goddard writes ...

It is, for me anyway, the first clearly communicated and intellectually based evidence I have seen and heard for global warming

It is highly engaging and I believe a serious wake up call for us and the way we live in such an unsustainable way. I believe it is also a call to Christians as to how we will represent this issue to the world around us, not just in words, but through our actions and our understanding of the implications to other global issues, such as poverty.

Be challenged – go and see it! ......oh and don't forget to leave the car at home :-)

Blessings
Jim
